The Original Intent for Mankind
What was God’s original intention for creating mankind?
God created Adam and Eve, the first humans, placed them in The Garden of Eden, and made them conduits of His goodness and love. Adam and Eve knew God personally and intimately. Two things were established at the beginning between God and mankind: union and communion.
UNION
Union, the relationship between God and man, is the central truth established at the beginning between God and man. Man knew the heart of God. Through a relationship with God, Adam and Eve were conduits and recipients of God’s goodness and His love. Man had a Godly nature, and they were fully satisfied in God’s love. They were expressions of love. Man walked freely with God and lacked nothing.
COMMUNION
Man also had an open line of communication with God. Adam and Eve had fellowship with God and knew His ways. Man was spiritually alive, and through their relationship with God, they knew the thoughts and intentions of God. They were given the privilege of knowing God’s perspective and living from a Heavenly reality. Man talked freely with God and lacked nothing.
CONCLUSION
Love and faith were established from the beginning through union and communion with God. The original intent of mankind was always UNION (relationship with God) and COMMUNION (communication with God). Man’s union with God allowed man to walk as an expression of God’s love and were fully satisfied in Him. Man’s communion with God allowed man to live by faith. Man was enlightened with God’s perspective and lived in Heaven’s reality.
