SoulSister: Galatians 2:20 [A Study On Identity]Chikamu
CONCLUSION
Repeat this to yourself: "It is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me. Christ is my identity."
Now, what do we do with that? Learn, read, study, and seek God diligently. Find out who Christ is because who Christ is, is who you are. Let the love of Christ compel us. Furthermore, the same power (Holy Spirit) that descended on Christ and raised Him from the dead is now living in you. Become aware of the power that we have possessed through Christ. Let's be aware of the love, grace, and truth that Christ Jesus has given to us so that we can walk into the things that we need to walk through this year and the years to come. No more wondering––What's my purpose? Who am I? Why am I here? Read God’s Word, and you'll know who you are, and you'll have peace. Everything you need to know is in the Word of God.
IDENTITY STUDY QUESTIONS:
1. When you look at yourself, do you see yourself different from how God sees you? If so, why?
2. How do identity, surrender, and humility work together?
3. Why do you think the enemy is after distorting our identity?
4. What does 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 mean to you?
5. How was identity attacked in the Garden of Eden?
6. Why is it hard for some to believe that God truly loves them?
About this Plan
Where we came from or what we used to be does not define our identity. Our identity is not in our past; our identity is in Christ. In this SoulSister devotional with TiaMarie Arnold, we're going to study Galatians 2:20 everyday with other supporting scriptures, so that when we face identity challenges in our day-to-day walk, it will be the scripture that flows from within us.
