The reality of our identity

ZUVA 3 REMAZUVA 7

How do you come into contact with Christ, the Son of God?

When you confess the name of Jesus, as Scripture says, you will be saved. Everyone who calls on the name of God will be saved. Where two or three are gathered together in the name of Christ, He is in their midst. The moment you come in contact with Christ when you believe, when in your spirit you can touch the Spirit of Christ, then you are His child. It is because of your relationship, your communion with Him, that you receive Him.

If you find yourself reading this devotional, it is because God specifically led you to read these words. As you read them, may the Spirit of His Son come upon your life. Because the Word is God’s Son, He became flesh and dwelt among us. When you hear the Word and believe it, then the Son becomes real in you. God is giving you faith through what I say so that you will believe and live as a child of God.

Before you were conceived in your mother’s womb, God had already designed you in His mind. You existed before you were born. God created you before you lived. You are a work of God’s thinking. Every time you look in the mirror, stop seeing an ordinary person; stop seeing what you are used to seeing with your natural eyes. Now that you are guided by the Spirit of God, begin to see what God made. What you see in the mirror is God's creation, His design, His masterpiece.

The Spirit of God guides the children of God. We who know the Word, believe in the Word, confess the Word, and walk by what the Word says, are guided by His Spirit. Therefore, we are the children of God.
