Biblical Success - Running in Galatians 2:20Chikamu
“This life that I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and died for me.” So I must live by faith. Well, that’s how we are saved, isn’t it? By faith? (Ephesians 2:8,9) So we are not only saved by faith but now we must learn to live by faith. Well, what is faith? “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things unseen.” (Hebrews 11:1) We didn’t “see” Jesus being crucified in our place or "see" Him rise from the grave. But the cornerstone of our faith rests on the truth of, and our belief in, these events. Somehow we “know” it happened. That “knowing” is a function of our renewed spirit. We didn’t see it but we trust our eternal life on the fact that it did happen and is true by faith.
“It is no longer I who live but He who lives in me” . We didn’t “see” Him come into our heart but we know He did and that He came to stay (Romans 8:9-11). Read it “But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.” Wow! I mean wow! God gives us life, real life, everyday life, through His Spirit Who lives in us! Now! Every moment and forever!
So the life I live right now I live knowing that He lives in me and wants to live through me. I say it this way: Jesus lives in me, as me, through me, to those He brings around me. Jesus lives in me by His Spirit and He teaches and guides me in the narrow way or path, much as a gyroscope or a GPS guides a ship or a plane or our car. He convicts me when I do wrong and helps me understand and remember His Word which always points me towards His will.

And "Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path." Psalms 119:105 NKJV
