News Too Good Not to ShareChikamu
The name God used when He introduced Himself to Moses at the burning bush was very straight-forward: “I AM WHO I AM.” This name tells us that He is not an idol to be stuck somewhere out of sight. He is the God of this—and every—moment in time. He is the living, active God who leads and guides us. Each generation must be told the truth about who He is. They must be taught to look for Him in the NOW moments of life. Otherwise, He becomes distant and formal—more like a ritual to take part in than the living God.
Those with whom you seek to share the kingdom must be encouraged to walk with God for themselves and experience Him firsthand in every moment of life. Only by such experience are they empowered to rise up for themselves as kingdom men.
Every kingdom man should continually look for God in the present realities of their own life. We should teach those who come along behind us not to rely on our experiences alone, but to learn how to walk with God on their own. We must never be content to hold up our own spiritual breakthroughs as if the very existence of them was enough to make an impact on others. The transfer comes through the telling. We pass along the kingdom principles of biblical manhood through telling our own stories while we encourage others to experience His love and power for themselves. Then they will have their own stories of God’s goodness to pass on to those who follow them. That is the process of kingdom discipleship.
Why is it important to look for God in the present realities of your life?
