Communicating at Work with the Fruit of the SpiritChikamu
Faithfulness
Your hope of eternal life lies solely in the unshakeable faithfulness of God Almighty, God Eternal!
God’s faithfulness to his promises remains the same whether you are experiencing great joy, or whether you are experiencing pain, grief, disappointment, and the storms of life.
God has laid for you a precious cornerstone -- a sure foundation upon which you can build your life (Isaiah 28:16). When you do so, the circumstances of life will never wash away your joy or your hope. You don’t need to act hastily or be stricken by panic when God is your sure foundation.
Just as God has been faithful to you, he invites you to demonstrate your faithfulness to him by being faithful to your employer, your partner, and your family. Your faithfulness is demonstrated when you model God’s integrity, justice, and righteousness in all that you do and say.
Just as God remains faithful to his promises and his character even when we slip into our sinful habits, will you remain faithful to your employer, partner, and family?
Today I invite you to try your absolute best in every task you perform, including the ones you don’t enjoy doing. How could the way you do your work reflect God’s faithfulness to the people you work with? How could your emails and conduct in meetings reflect God’s faithfulness?
Prayer: Lord, I thank you that you have laid a precious cornerstone that is a sure foundation for my life. Forgive me for the times when I panic or am afraid. Help me to be faithful to you, by being faithful to my employer, my partner, and my family. Amen.
