Jesus Over GenerationsChikamu
As we look back at history, people seemed to work together, team up and rally the troops. A village raised a child. Several generations lived in the same home, or at least in the same town. Everyone had different roles and responsibilities and then came together to share the load.
Today, it seems like everyone is for themselves. Dog eat dog. Sometimes we will push people down to get a leg up. Are we still living in a village that will help us raise our children? What is our greatest priority?
What if there was a greater call? What if Jesus asks us to do something greater? Is there a bigger purpose? The answer is yes.
The writer of Psalm 78 was a man named Asaph. He was a musician and singer for King David. Psalm 78 shouts out to the world that we have a responsibility to pass what we have received from God to the next generation.
We have been given a mission to not hide what we have been taught from our children. Are you up for the challenge?
Jesus is over generations!

The pursuit of Jesus isn’t just for us and shouldn’t stop with us. Following Jesus started thousands of years ago, and it is our mission to continue for generations to come.
