Through the ChaosChikamu
In the Story of Esther there is a famous verse ….”You were called to the palace for such a time as this”
Esther found favor with the King of Persia. She found herself in a position of power during a time where her people needed her. Esther was a Jew and the Jews were going to be put to death if Esther didn’t speak up and ask for them to be saved.
When people are in a chaotic season they often feel overwhelmed, unqualified and intimidated.
Esther was in a role that she wasn’t expecting during an unprecedented time. She was told to rise up and do something bold to see a miraculous result.
There’s nobody that can fill the role that you are in as well as you can. You can carry out exactly what needs to be carried out. In this season, in this moment for your family.
When we find ourselves in the midst of uncharted territory it can be an opportunity to rise up and accept whatever challenge is presented to us.
Wherever we are, we are where we are meant to be!
We can execute our tasks with class and with grace. We can do it because God gives us His strength. Without Him it can be impossible but with Him we can be sure we can rise to the occasion.
God provides for us in these seasons. He takes care of our needs according to His riches and glory.
Give the responsibility over to Him and trust that you are just the one for the job!
Follow His lead, give yourself lots of grace and extend it to everyone else around you.
When you feel overwhelmed-pray for peace.
When you feel unqualified- pray for confidence and wisdom.
When you feel scared pray God’s perfect love over yourself because his perfect love casts out all fear.
Prayer:
Jesus, show me how to be confident in you. Help me rise to the occasion and be just what I need to be in this season. Help me walk with boldness and extend grace to myself and others. I am thankful you are on this journey with me. In your precious name, Amen.
