Beware Of The Anti-Virtues Woman!
Consider more types of anti-values women. Read carefully. Ask God to show you if you are one of these “moms” we are going to read about.
The Masochist Mom: She likes to suffer and wants people to know she is suffering. Masochist women pretend the world revolves around them. They want people to pay attention to them constantly. They cry and use nonexistent diseases to make their children and husbands feel sorry for them, so they can get what they want. They act like children when they throw a tantrum, but they are grown women, masochists. If you want to stop suffering, remove your garments of mourning and put on your “woman of God” clothes: victorious, whole, fulfilled. Remove misery from your face and enjoy life. Masochism cannot fulfill anyone’s life.
The Puppet Mom: She does what her children want. She is the opposite of the mannequin and the manipulative mom. The mannequin mom does not do anything. The manipulative mom controls everyone else’s lives. This mom is controlled by her children. Her children dictate her life; she is a puppet following their orders. If her children want to watch TV, she turns on the TV; if they want to eat, she cooks for them; they control her life. She does not set the rules or put boundaries in her children’s lives.
The Matriarchy Mom: She rules them all. In what type of culture? Which country? This happens everywhere. Some homes have been controlled by a mother figure for generations. Sometimes it is the grandmother who rules the family, and the rest of the women are waiting for her to die so they can step in her shoes. They expect to be the new queen who controls the house. The daughters of God who are mothers and have a home know that this control belongs to God; they submit to His divine design, established under His control. They give up any inherited concept and allow God to rule in their house, so they can live according to God’s design.
Reflect
Did God show you any of these anti-values in your life? Do you see yourself as a matriarch? Ask God to help you out of this cultural deceit.
