Hama dzangu, kuda kwomwoyo wangu nokukumbira kwangu kuna Mwari pamusoro pavo ndiko, kuti vaponeswe. Nokuti ndinovapupurira kuti vanoshingairira Mwari, asi havaiti nokuziva. Nokuti, zvavakanga vasingazivi kururama kwaMwari, vakatsvaka kumisa kururama kwavo vamene, vakasazviisa pasi pokururama kwaMwari. Nokuti Kristu ndimugumo womurayiro, kuti mumwe nomumwe anotenda aruramiswe.
Nokuti Mosesi anonyora achiti, “Munhu, anoita kururama, kunorehwa nomurayiro, achararama nazvo.” Asi kururama kunobva pakutenda, kunoreva kudai, “Usati mumwoyo mako, ndianiko achakwira kudenga?” (Ndiko kuburusa Kristu;) kana, “Ndianiko achaburukira kwakadzika-dzika?” (Ndiko kubudisa Kristu kuvakafa.) Asi kunoreveiko? “Shoko riri pedyo newe, mumuromo mako, ndiro shoko rokutenda ratinoparidza;” kana, kuti uchipupura nomuromo wako kuti Jesu ndiye Ishe, nokutenda mumwoyo mako, kuti Mwari akamumutsa kuvakafa, uchaponeswa; nokuti munhu anotenda nomwoyo, ndokururamiswa; anopupura nomuromo, ndokuponeswa. Nokuti Rugwaro runoti, “Aninaani anotenda kwaari, haanganyadziswi.” Nokuti muJudha nomuGiriki havasiyani; nokuti mumwe ndiye Ishe wavose, akapfuma kuna vose vanodana kwaari; nokuti aninaani anodana kuzita raIshe, achaponeswa.
Zvino vachagodana seiko kuna iye, wavasina kutenda kwaari? Vachatenda seiko kuna iye, wavasina kunzwa? Vachanzwa seiko kana kusina muparidzi?
Vachaparidza seiko, kana vasingatumwi? Sezvazvakanyorwa, zvichinzi, “Dzakanaka sei tsoka dzavanouya namashoko omufaro ezvinhu zvakanaka?”
Asi vose havana kuteerera mashoko omufaro. Nokuti Isaya anoti, “Ishe, ndianiko akatenda zvatakaparidza?”
