Walking With GodVzorec

DAY TWENTY SEVEN
Seven Steps to a Scriptural Foundation for Healing
1. KNOW THAT IT IS GOD'S WILL TO HEAL YOU.
The same Gospel that preaches that it is the will of God that all men be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, is the same Gospel that says He not only forgives your iniquities, but He heals all your diseases. It was the will of God that Jesus died at Calvary as our substitute. He bore our sickness and disease, so we do not have to bear it now. (Isaiah 53:3-10)
2. RECOGNIZE SICKNESS AND DISEASE AS WORK OF SATAN.
Jesus healed all that were oppressed of the devil. The Bible does not say He healed all that were oppressed of God. Sickness is bondage of the devil; it's captivity. Jesus doesn't have to use sickness and disease to teach us. Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law. Therefore, I am redeemed from sickness. (Galatians 3:13)
3. REALIZE THAT HEALING BEGINS WITHIN.
You are going to have to see yourself healed on the inside before you will be healed on the outside. It is not enough to have hands laid on you and expect somebody else's faith to do all the work. Allow the Word to form an image of divine health in your spirit first, then your body will respond. (Proverbs 14:30)
4. ESTABLISH A POINT OF CONTACT.
A point of contact is a means to help you release your faith. The moment you say, "By His stripes I am healed," can be your point of contact. The Bible talks about many different points of contact such as laying on of hands, confessing Scriptures, and prayer petitions. You need to establish your point of contact and stand on it until the manifestation comes. (Mark 5:28)
5. DO NOT WAIT FOR "SOMEDAY" TO RELEASE YOUR FAITH—RELEASE IT NOW!
Faith is now, not in the future. Today is the day for deliverance, healing, preservation, prosperity, safety, and soundness. Don't wait for some day. (Hebrews 11:1)
6. SHUT THE DOOR ON DEFEAT!
The moment you establish your point of contact and release your faith, that is when you shut the door on the enemy. You refuse to talk defeat and sickness. Do not talk about what you feel, but what you believe. Stand guard over your mouth. (Ephesians 4:27)
7. PLACE YOURSELF IN AN ENVIRONMENT OF FAITH.
When you are standing on the Word of God, that is when the devil will try to fill you with doubt and unbelief. Stay in the Word. That is being in an environment of faith. (Romans 10:17)
