Philippians Pt. 3Sample

Philippians Pt. 3

DAY 1 OF 5

Welcome to Philippians Pt. 3! In Pt. 2, we reflected on unity, humility, and the unshakable joy that comes from living with a heavenly mindset. Now, as we dive into chapter 4, Paul reminds the Philippians of their identity in Christ and encourages them to persevere with joy and trust, even when the journey feels difficult.

Paul uses the image of a crown, not the royal stephanos of kings, but the diadema—the crown awarded to victorious athletes in the Olympics. He calls the Philippians his joy and his crown, reminding them that they are champions for Christ, created for greatness. Just as athletes wear their victory crown with pride, we are called to embrace the mindset of victors, pressing forward in faith no matter the challenges we face.

Today, let us reflect on what it means to live as champions for Christ, trusting in His strength and joy to sustain us.

Thank you for starting Philippians Pt. 3 with us. As you spend time in prayer today, consider this question:

What does it mean for me to wear the “crown” of victory in Christ, and how can I live with the confidence and joy of someone created for greatness?

May the Holy Spirit inspire you to embrace your identity as a champion for Christ. We look forward to seeing you tomorrow as we continue our study!
