Who Goes to Heaven

DAY 7 OF 8

Today I want to invite you to reflect on a deep and powerful truth that Jesus gives us in John 11:25: "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die." These words are not only a comfort in times of loss but also a clear guide on how we should live our daily lives.

Take a moment to consider what it means that Jesus is the resurrection and the life. It is not just a distant theological concept but a living and present reality. Jesus is telling us that in Him we find true life, a life that transcends physical death. This gives us a completely new perspective on life and death.

  1. What does it mean to you that Jesus is the resurrection and the life?
For me, it means that my hope is not limited to this world. Jesus offers me a life that does not end with death but continues in an eternity with Him. It is a promise of renewal and an existence filled with His presence and love.
  2. How does knowing that eternal life is through Jesus change your perspective on life and death?
Knowing that eternal life is through Jesus frees me from the fear of death. It gives me the assurance that my destiny is secure in Christ, and this changes how I live every day. I no longer live for myself but for the One who gives me eternal life.

Now, let's reflect together on how we are currently living our lives. Is your life reflecting your faith in Jesus as the resurrection and the life? It is easy to lose sight of what is important amid daily busyness, but today I encourage you to pause and consider this.

Dedicate time this week to strengthen your relationship with Jesus. Talk to Him in prayer, meditate on His Word, and seek His presence in everything you do. Remember, eternal life does not begin after death but now, living in communion with Christ.

The life that Jesus offers us is one full of purpose and hope, a life that reflects His love and grace. Live in such a way that others can see the light of Christ in you. Let your life be a testimony of the resurrection and the life that only Jesus can give.

Dear friend, always remember that "the dead do not go to heaven, but the living do." Live with the certainty that in Jesus, you have the resurrection and the life. May this truth transform the way you live each day, and may you find in Him the hope and strength to face any challenge.

May God bless you and guide you in your daily walk with Christ.
