DAY 5 OF 7

Creating Is Prophetic

You can prophesy through creativity by revealing the testimony and works of Jesus Himself. And on the other hand, by creating in itself, you are bringing forth something into existence that didn’t exist—you are forth-telling. When you capture someone on video sharing a testimony of the power of Jesus in their lives, you’re prophesying and paving the way for that testimony to happen again. When you paint a beautiful picture displaying the story of Jesus’ saving grace, you’re prophesying. When you’re creating a remedy for a broken water pipe, you’re bringing something back to its original intent and design reflecting God’s creative nature and heart for restoration which in itself reflects the testimony of why Jesus came. When creativity is present, there is always a place for prophecy to “breathe” as long as the testimony of Jesus is presented.

It’s important to fully understand what happens when we prophesy through portraying the testimony of Jesus. It’s easy for me to say, “Just talk about Jesus and your creative projects will be more impactful.” But, when we pave the way for the works of Jesus to be duplicated, it opens the door for supernatural things to happen in the physical and spiritual realm.

Your perspective of who Jesus is can affect His supernatural power operating in your life. If you truly disbelieve the authority of the name of Jesus, you will not walk in the authority that He has given you. When we portray the story of Jesus in our creativity, we are opening the door for the supernatural to happen. When we prophesy by revealing the testimony of Jesus, we are paving the way for faith to increase and miracles to be duplicated. When this is paired with an accurate perspective and revelation of Jesus, that’s when we begin to see change happen.
