DAY 24 OF 25

You’ve likely heard this familiar passage in Romans before. It’s one you’ve seen on bumper stickers, posted on Instagram, spoken in pulpits, written in cards, or shared with you from loved ones. What makes this one verse in Scripture so memorable? It’s likely due to the promise we find inside it. In a world where everything feels chaotic and out of control at times, God’s promise that all things will eventually work together for our good is one we can’t help but cling to in this life. When we love God and walk in His ways, we can trust that good is waiting for us in the end. While it may not look the way we expected or it may be something we never see this side of Heaven, it’s a hope that we can hold on to every step of the way. There is a plan, and in the end, that plan is good.

Read this verse again. How does it land for you? What do you think it means for your life today? Take time to share it with someone else in your life this week. Talk to them about what it means to you. Ask them to share a little bit of the same! Then, pray together, asking God to remind you of His good plan for your life.

About this Plan

Rooted

Like a plant, our root system—our identity—is vitally important to our health. It’s how you see yourself in light of God, others, and the world. It’s what holds you when life changes, threatens, or causes you to question what’s true about you! We’ll look at how a healthy identity rooted in who God is will keep us strong, vibrant, and grounded no matter what comes our way.
