The Supernatural Miracles of Communion: The Anointing on Your Life!

DAY 6 OF 7

Day 6: Divine Victory and Authority

Today, we delve into the theme of divine victory and authority that we, as believers, experience through communion with Christ.

Communion represents our participation in the finished work of Christ, which secured our victory over sin, death, and all spiritual opposition.

In 1 Corinthians 15:57, Paul declares, "But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." Through communion, we celebrate and appropriate this victory in our lives.

1 Samuel 10:5 says, "Afterward you will come to the hill of God where the Philistine garrison is; and it shall be as soon as you have come there to the city, that you will meet a group of prophets coming down from the high place with harp, tambourine, flute, and a lyre before them, and they will be prophesying."

We have a couple of things to look at here.

Number one: we have divine victory. You will come to the Hill of God, where the Philistines are, but by the time you get there, those Philistines will have already been defeated—for you.

Why were they defeated? The reason is this group of prophets came with praise and music. They came and defeated the Philistines through their praise. By the blood of Jesus, our Philistines already have been defeated. So, our praise is a response to the victory that we already have.

Number two: it goes on to say: "Then you will prophesy." That's divine authority. When I open my mouth, miracles will come out because we have the anointing to prophesy. He said, "You shall prophesy with them." He wasn't even a prophet, so it wasn't a problem.

In other words, you're going to speak to things that are dead, and they're going to come to life. And you will speak to things that need moving, and they will move. You will speak to things that need to come, and they will come. You have that power. Death and life in the power of the tongue. You shall prophesy with them, and it will change you into another man. Listen, the body and blood of Jesus bring all these things.

God has filled Scripture with promises of victory for His people. Romans 8:37 affirms, "No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us." As we partake of communion, it reminds us of our true identity as overcomers in Christ—empowered to walk in victory over every obstacle and challenge we face.

Jesus demonstrated His authority over sickness, demons, and nature throughout His earthly ministry—showcasing the divine authority bestowed upon believers. In Luke 9:1-2, Jesus gave His disciples authority over all demons and the anointing to cure diseases. This Scripture highlights the spiritual authority that all believers have in Christ!

Tomorrow, we will see how God brings divine transformation and renewal through the anointing.
