QUALIFYING TO WORK WITH GOD (2)
Remember, we started looking at the different levels of God working among His people. The first one we looked at yesterday was how God works IN you; today, we will look at how God works FOR you.
2. GOD WORKING FOR YOU
As God is working IN you, He will at the same time be working FOR you. However, I must let you know that the fact that God is working for a man does not mean that such a man is pleasing to Him (Read 1 Corinthians 10:1-10).
Your utmost desire as a child of God should not be what God is doing for you but what He is doing in you. What God is doing in you is what will ultimately determine what God will do with you in life and destiny. While you thank God and appreciate Him for what He is doing for you, you must not make it your focus or let it blind you to what God is working in you, which is because of where God is taking you to.
When you make what God is doing for you your focus, you will know the acts of the Lord without knowing His ways, and you will certainly fall into the same crisis that the children of Israel fell into. When God is working for you, but He is not working in you, you will not go far with Him. Somehow, your ways will become grieving to Him; you will always err in your heart not knowing the ways of the Lord.
Prayer: Lord may my life be a description of your divine workings in life for me! While you are working for me, let your working in me be perfect and complete in Jesus’ name. Amen!
