Day 3: Keep Moving! (Run to God not from God)
Living a victorious life doesn’t mean that everything goes perfectly. In fact, it doesn’t mean that you always DO perfectly either. The reality is, all of us mess up and make mistakes.
A big part of continuing to live in the victory that Jesus won for you is knowing how to respond when you have messed up or something goes wrong in life. Let’s remind ourselves of something; Jesus died for our sins! His blood is more powerful than our mess! Believe that!
When we put our faith in His work on the cross, it positions us to keep moving and not be tied down to our failures. We might trip up and fall down at times but God is not interested in holding us down. He wants to lift us up, dust us off and help us walk stronger than before!
So what do you do? Well, you don’t run FROM God. You run TO Him! Be honest with God. Tell Him about your mistakes and then ask Him to forgive you and help you change. Receive His forgiveness by faith and then get moving in the victory He has won for you!
If we can learn this simple lesson while we’re young, we’ll know how to respond in the future and for the rest of our lives. Our growth in God will become unstoppable!
