Mark - Living in the Word

DAY 20 OF 55

VERSE OF THE DAY:

During those days another large crowd gathered. Since they had nothing to eat, Jesus called his disciples to him and said, “I have compassion for these people; they have already been with me three days and have nothing to eat. If I send them home hungry, they will collapse on the way, because some of them have come a long distance.”

- Mark 8:1-3

REFLECTION:

In the business of everything that was going on, it was JESUS who took note of the needs of others. He didn’t delegate His compassion to a team. HE noticed. HE cared. HE took action.

JOURNAL POINTS:

  • What does compassion look like to you?
  • Have you been too busy to see the needs of others?
  • What is something you can do today to show someone else that you see them and that you care?
