Mark - Living in the Word

DAY 12 OF 55

VERSE OF THE DAY:

Those who had seen it told the people what had happened to the demon-possessed man—and told about the pigs as well. Then the people began to plead with Jesus to leave their region.

- Mark 5:16-17

REFLECTION:

  • It was a great day for the man with demons.
  • It was a bad day for the pig farmer.
  • Helping one person doesn’t always equate to hurting someone else.
  • Do we want the MIRACLE but not the results?
  • Life with Jesus means accepting EVERYTHING.
  • We don’t get to pick and choose.

JOURNAL POINTS:

  • What area of your life have you been holding back from God?
  • How do you respond when God wants to change the difficult things in your life?
  • Have you ever asked Jesus to leave you alone (if not with words, then with actions)?
