Evangelism at Easter: To Be Silent or to Shout?

DAY 1 OF 7

Why did Jesus come?

Many people know the basic moments of the Easter story, but most of them do not understand the significance of Jesus' resurrection for their personal lives.

During these festive days, people are usually more open to information about Christ, so it's worth using this time to spread the Gospel. But how can this be done effectively without alienating the listener and avoiding negative responses?

Contrary to popular belief, Jesus did not come to restore social justice or peace throughout the world. He came not only to heal the sick or feed the hungry. He didn't even come just to give us a good example of how to live an honest life.

He came with a different purpose. In the Word of God, it is written that Jesus came to give His life as a ransom for many. He came to call sinners to repentance and to give us eternal life.

Think today about why Jesus came to earth and what example He left for us. Can we consider Him a model for the modern Christian? Did difficult circumstances affect the fulfillment of His mission, and is it possible to overcome obstacles in carrying out Christ's evangelistic mandate in our day?

Pray: Dear Jesus, I thank you for coming into this world to show me love and offer salvation. Merciful God, help me understand and fulfill Your commandments correctly. Guide me to live according to Your will every day and to share Your light with the world. Amen.

About this Plan

Evangelism at Easter: To Be Silent or to Shout?

Easter is the central holiday for Christians, celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ and His victory over sin and death. Unfortunately, in our society, Easter is undervalued. It's not celebrated with the same fervor as Christmas: homes aren't decorated a month in advance, and families don't sing Easter songs together. Take the next week to reflect on the essence of the holiday and find effective ways for Easter evangelism.
