Sinner To SaintSample
Evidence Of A Christian
The world is full of people who claim to be Christians, but are not. Some do a pretty good job of faking it, too. They obey parts of the Bible as it suits them and demonstrate some spiritual fruit sometimes, but when push comes to shove and they have to live out their “faith” in difficult circumstances, they cannot do it because the Holy Spirit does not live in their hearts and has not brought about any real transformation.
Difficult circumstances give Christians the chance to prove that they truly belong to God and that He has the power to save and transform sinners into saints.
When Christians rely on the power of the Holy Spirit to guide, direct, and empower them, supernatural things happen. The way they think and feel changes. What they value changes. They begin to care more about God’s Kingdom and glory than their own advantage or comfort, and this shows up in the way they act and react toward other people and circumstances. Their selfless behavior causes them to stand out in the crowd, forcing others to acknowledge God’s presence at work in their lives and prompting others to consider putting their faith in Jesus Christ for salvation, too. Their selfless behavior might even come as a shock to themselves from time to time, but reassures them that God is indeed at work in their lives and that they do belong to God even though they still make mistakes.
Does the way that you act and react toward other people and circumstances prove God’s power to save and transform?

About this Plan
Some people believe that you have to wait until you die to know for sure whether or not you truly belong to God and get to spend eternity in Heaven. Not true! God wants you to live a victorious life for His glory right now, confident not only of where you will spend eternity (1 John 5:13), but also in His love and your identity as His child. Not sure whether or not you belong to God? Don’t wait another day to find out!
