Nothing Is Impossible

DAY 2 OF 7

To believe that nothing is impossible with God means our eyes or our vision require a little renovation. The apostle Paul says, “I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in His holy people, and His incomparably great power for us who believe.”

In the midst of life's chaos, challenges, and fleeting moments, the apostle Paul offers a profound perspective. He invites us to shift our focus from the visible, transient aspects of life to the unseen, eternal realities that transcend our earthly experiences (2 Cor 4:18).

Paul's words serve as a gentle reminder that our world often distracts us with temporary pleasures, material possessions, and momentary struggles. Yet, he encourages us to intentionally redirect our gaze towards the eternal realm. What we see around us is subject to change, decay, and passing away. However, the unseen, eternal realm—the kingdom of God, His promises, and His eternal glory—endures beyond the limitations of time and space.

Contemplating the eternal involves a deliberate choice to fix our attention on God's promises, His character, and His eternal purposes. It calls for a shift in perspective, allowing our hearts and minds to be captivated by the enduring hope found in Christ, rather than being consumed by the fleeting concerns of this world. Where does your focus lie daily? Are you more preoccupied with the temporary or the eternal aspects of life? Consider practical ways to align your priorities with eternal values and invest in things that have lasting significance.
