21 Days Prayer & Fasting "Alive in Calling"Sample

21 Days Prayer & Fasting "Alive in Calling"

DAY 15 OF 21

HANDLING FAILURES

David was an anointed and chosen man by God, and he became the most famous and victorious person among the Israelites. However, there was a time when he felt like a failure. He had nowhere to go. King Saul, his father-in-law, was against him and wanted to kill him. There was no refuge, and he was overwhelmed with worry and despair. In this crisis, his friend Jonathan came to him and helped him find strength in God.

In this context, we learn that in our lives as God's people, there may be times when we experience failures, when obstacles and challenges hinder our progress, and that's okay. In such moments, we need to seek God's help and the fellowship of our fellow believers who can help strengthen us in God. As God’s ministers, we should not only focus on mission targets but also care for our fellow believers, teammates, and disciples. We should also care for their physical, spiritual, and emotional needs.

Paul describes the fellowship of believers as part of the body, and we are a support system for one another. This is why Jesus sent His disciples in pairs to support and strengthen each other in God. This is how we can effectively fulfill God's mission and stay connected to God.

PRAYER
Thank you, Lord, for You are always with me, even in my lowest moments. You also placed fellow believers to encourage me to rise from my failures. In my weakness, Your power is made perfect. I can rise and help others who have experienced failure. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
