A Lengthy Stay
Paul hangs out in Corinth for over a year and a half, preaching the gospel and building the church. He makes another few stops, including Ephesus, before he returns to Antioch.
Read: Acts 18:1-22 (NLT)
Explore the Theme: Paul was a man on the move -- occupied by work, preaching the word, and building the church -- when the Lord came to him in a vision. Why do you think God chose that moment to speak to Paul? How do you think Paul felt after hearing from God?
Ask God: God not only reached out to Paul, but he reminded Paul that he was with him. How does that encourage you about God’s ability and desire to speak into your life? When you think about God speaking to you, what obstacles does your mind come up with? Now think about what it would add to your experience if you knew that God was willing to you. What would you want him to say? What do you think he would want to say to you?
Live it Out: What encouragement or word could you use from God today? Ask God to speak into your life -- through his word, his Holy Spirit, or through a trusted community and other believers. At the end of the day, write down all the things that you think might have been from him. If there are things you aren’t sure about, share them with a wise friend and discern them together.

About this Plan
(Part three of a four part journey through the Books of Acts.) Even in (and especially in?) hard times, God is present and is working to build His Church. We can find encouragement in this. When circumstances force us to pivot, we don’t have to lose heart - God is with us.
