How Would Jesus Do My Job Differently

How would Jesus do your job differently? Have you stopped to ask yourself this question recently? What immediately comes to mind? Would He be more single-minded about focusing on the task? Would He treat people differently? Jesus maintained a laser-like focus on accomplishing the world-changing task the Father had given Him; simultaneously, He developed His core followers so that the work continued after He was gone. He exemplified servant leadership in all that He did. How will you lead more like Jesus today?

And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.—2 Corinthians 9:8

Prayer: Jesus, when all is said and done, I need You to focus me so that I reflect You as I do my job each day. Thank You that Your grace abounds to me, that through You I can focus on both tasks and people, and that I don’t have to sacrifice one for the other. Help me exemplify You today, Lord. Amen.
