The Four Living Creatures Series Part 3: The ManSample
Son of Man
It is important to have a balanced view of just who Jesus is. What gives anybody credibility is his or her experience. Jesus comes to earth as the literal son born of a woman, and He experiences everything that comes with human life. He had to learn wisdom. He had to grow physically, and He had to be baptized. He even had to grow in favor with God, while still being the Son of God! He intentionally went through all of the processes that were necessary for both spiritual and physical maturity.
Jesus came as the living example of one who is able to have a completely human existence and still fulfill the will of God. His ministry, death, and resurrection remove the excuses that we may give ourselves when it comes to fulfilling our purpose. Jesus was every bit as divine as He was human, showing us that we have the capacity to flow in that same power. He showed us that it is possible to be human while still maintaining the standard of holiness. Jesus showed us that you could be sociable while still being on a mission of winning souls.
We are not at the mercy of our earthly limitations. So long as the Spirit of God inhabits this vessel, there is nothing that we can not accomplish. Let us be deliberate in our daily living. Yield your limitations unto the Lord, and make yourself available for His usage. You will be surprised at what He will be able to accomplish through you.
