Refined by Fire: Ignited to Rise From Comfort to Calling

DAY 4 OF 4

CLEARING THE PATH

Difficult times can cause us to become more focused by eliminating distractions, allowing us to reach our true potential. While simultaneously creating a burning passion within us to draw closer to God. The blame game used to be my first line of defense amid trials; pointing to the devil as the root cause of life issues was my go-to. I realized (according to the Word of God) that the enemy could only do what I invited and what God allowed. From then on, I sought the Holy Spirit to help me find my calling and clear away any obstacles between me and my destiny. Complaining about the storms in life makes sense to the carnal mind, but trusting God to use them for our benefit is a faith builder.

The fiery furnace God allows us to encounter has a greater purpose than the naked eye can see. While in the heat of battle, we must learn to lean into what God wants to reveal about who He is and who we are in Him (our true identity). The enemy meant for the heat to burn us, but God's plan is for it to build us, strengthen us, and refine us. So, avoid leaning on your own understanding. Trust in the Lord, and He will direct your path. Just as the Lord caused a strong wind to part the waters, clearing the way for the children of Israel to get to their destination, He can do the same for us. So, have faith in God and remain hopeful. Hope is infused when we perceive the storms of life as God's "path-clearer,"... opening the way for us to travel from comfort to calling.
