Heaven’s Promise

When terrible things happen in this world, people cry out to God in desperation. They ask how he could have let it happen. How could the one who is in control of everything possibly be good when there is so much hardship?

But when we look at the system of heaven, we realize that God never intended for us to have sorrow, pain, or death. All of these things only exist as a result of man’s sin. When the kingdom of heaven is established on earth, we will live as God intended. All wrong will be righted and all pain will disappear.

As a child of God, you know that any pain you have in this life is temporary because your eternal home will be devoid of it all. When the pain and sadness of the world threatens to overwhelm you, cling to the promise of heaven and the hope that one day every tear will be wiped from your eyes.
