There is Clarity in our life, and there is no more anxiety. There is peace when we fall at the feet of Christ. We see the story of Martha and Mary, and we all know Martha's eagerness, but let's see Mary. We see the aspect of being busy, distracting ourselves, because sometimes that is what busyness is. We don't want to face situations, so we look for things to do. Marta, like many, always wants to give the best to the people of our time when we receive visits, etc., but sometimes what we have to be is present. When we have an encounter with Jesus, He transforms that aspect into our lives. For the more things we have to do, being in His presence eliminates all anxiety and worry, and we become like Mary. Jesus' feet find direction, love, assurance, protection, and love. She chose the best.

It liberates us. There was a demon-possessed child (Luke 8:26-39) and not by one but many unclean spirits. The demons were cast at the pigs, and when Jesus arrived, everything in his walk transformed. Once the light comes into our life, which is Jesus, everything that is not pleasing or everything that is limiting our closeness to Jesus has to flee. That is why many times, we are in a constant struggle to be able to have a whole relationship with Jesus because there is something that blocks us. When one encounters the light of Jesus, we cry out to be delivered, and Jesus, with a single word, can deliver us, just as those spirits came out. Jesus can set you free.
