Be Still in Your Season

DAY 2 OF 3

Thankful in All Seasons

Do you recognize the many blessings Father God has given you? For a minute, let’s think about the good things God has brought into our lives. Are you alive? Can you think? Do you love and receive love? Do you see God’s beauty in His creation—the sky, the sun, the trees, and so on? Do you have family or friends whom you enjoy spending time with? Can you hear, touch, taste, or smell? Most importantly, do you know Yeshua and believe you will spend eternity with Him in heaven?

Everything that adds to our joy is a gift from God. Beloved one, our Father is truly good, He is worthy to be praised, and He wants us to walk with an attitude of thanksgiving. In Luke 17, Yeshua told a story about ten lepers. He healed ten, but only one returned and thanked Him. Jesus asked, “Were there not ten cleansed? But the nine—where are they?”

Unfortunately, this is the mindset of many believers today. Few of us thank Father God for all the good He has brought into our lives. If we want to experience more of God’s goodness, we need to acknowledge what He has already done. This is a decision. We must choose to be thankful.

All these things are for your sakes so that the abundant grace through the thanksgiving of many might overflow to the glory of God—2 Corinthians 4:15, MEV.

They ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people—Acts 2:46b-2:47a.

About this Plan

Be Still in Your Season

Sometimes it's best to be still and know who God is. God has plans and purposes for us, but it can be hard to discern when it's time to take action or stay quiet, and we can easily become discouraged. In this 3-day devotional, you'll find inspiration in Christ in all circumstances, no matter what season you're in. It's time to breathe and know who the Almighty is.
