Money Management Principles From God's WordSample
Giving To The Poor And Helping Those In Need
Proverbs 19:17 states, "Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will reward them for what they have done." We must never forget that when we give to the poor and help those in need, we are lending to the Lord.
And just as any lender expects to receive a return on their investment, so too will we be rewarded for our kindness and generosity towards others.
It can be easy to get caught up in our own problems and forget about those who are less fortunate. But when we make an effort to give to the poor and help those in need, not only do we bring joy to others, but we also open ourselves up to blessings from the Lord.
And just so we are clear giving doesn't always have to be about money. We can give our time, our talent, and our resources.
By taking the time to give to others, we are not only showing the love of Christ but also making a positive impact in the world. You don't have to be wealthy to give, a small gesture of kindness can make a big difference in someone's life.
So today, let’s make a commitment to give. Whether it be a monetary donation, a meal, or simply a listening ear. And trust that the Lord will reward us for our kindness.
