You have the answer inside of you!

I recently had a day when I didn't feel like doing anything at all. Then I saw the appointment with my speech therapist in the calendar and thought, "Oh…I have that, too."

Do you realize that every moment of your life can mean something, even when you don't feel like doing what's on your schedule for the day? What matters is that you realize what God can do through you!

After looking at my calendar that morning, I prayed a short and simple prayer: "Jesus, please let it be a good appointment." Here's some good news…when you have a relationship with Jesus, you don't always have to pray a ten-minute prayer! He hears your small cries for help: "'...your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him.'" (Matthew 6:8, NKJV)

My speech therapist asked me what I've been doing, and I enthusiastically told her about A Miracle Every Day. I also told her that I need to do a lot of audio recordings for the emails and that my voice gets tired sometimes. I didn't expect her immediate response: "Then we'll work on it! Can you read me one of your texts right now?"

It's easy to talk about faith in a familiar environment of other believers when we know we have "allies," but it costs more to tell strangers what we believe.

Romans 10:9 says, "If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9, NIV)

This verse isn't just about your salvation alone…I believe it's also about those around you who don't yet have a clue about the gospel of Jesus Christ. There are so many people who are longing for what you may already have!

When I read one of the A Miracle Every Day texts to my speech therapist, thoughts of her reaction swirled around in my mind, but she very quickly opened up and allowed me to look into her heart! In the end, we were both encouraged.

You carry a treasure inside you that so many people are searching for! I encourage you today—be brave and choose to share the hope that you have in Jesus! :-)
