God Is at Work

DAY 3 OF 5

We have to eliminate our need for instant gratification.

We have to stop watching the clocks and calendars.

God doesn’t work on our time, nor does He abide by the same rulings and possibilities that we abide by.

When we can only see the chaos that is going on around us, God has the ability to see the bigger picture. When we are seeking ways to get what we want, God is providing us with what we need.

Even when we may not fully understand it.

He puts us in the right place at just the right times, and not a moment before. It is in the very nature of God to ensure that we accomplish what He has set before us.

Unfortunately, this means that sometimes, we’re just going to have to wait and trust the process.

While we are following His path, it can sometimes get discouraging when we don’t see the fruits of our labor. We can find ourselves becoming frustrated with our circumstances and, in turn, many of us will take it upon ourselves to try to do things our way.

But we have to understand that God is at work now.

He was at work yesterday.

He will be at work tomorrow.

He is always in our corner, even if we may not understand or even agree with what is happening around us.

Everything happens for a reason. Doors close so others can begin to open. God does not start projects to leave them unfinished. He is at work within you and around you. Don’t be afraid if the blueprints don’t seem to make sense to you right now; they aren’t supposed to.

The devil wants you to give up, but God wants you to get up, because your story is just beginning, and it’s about to get good.
