Starve the Flesh With Judah LupisellaSample

Starve the Flesh With Judah Lupisella

DAY 1 OF 3

You’ve chosen the right plan if you want freedom and your flesh to die. It’s time to starve your flesh. Choose one thing in your life that pulls your attention away from Jesus, and choose to fast (abstain) from it for the next three days as you complete this plan, starting now. It won’t be easy, but freedom is worth it. Let your constant prayer these next three days be: “Lord, please kill my flesh as I starve my flesh.” So what’re we waiting for? Let’s jump right in!

Rooted in God’s Word

Any thought or opinion that does not align with the Word of God is not from God. Regardless of the situation or what you feel is the right thing to do, what God says and your obedience in doing it matters. Your flesh will always want to do what’s contradictory to the Word of God. In knowing that, we shouldn’t be surprised when we have thoughts that don’t sound like our own, especially if they don’t sound as if they’re from God and His Word. This is why being in God’s Word daily is so important. Yes, I mean every day, not just Sundays and Wednesdays or when you read this plan.

There are way too many Christians in our culture bowing to sin in the name of false “love” and “acceptance” because they lack the knowledge of God’s Word and what He has to say about certain topics. With the average person having over 6,000 thoughts daily, we can agree that not every thought you have is from God. However, when you’re rooted in God’s Word, you can identify which thoughts are from God and which are not.

If you aren’t in God’s Word daily, you base your opinions and decisions on what you feel is right instead of what is right, which is always revealed in God’s Word. It’s time to stop following your feelings. It’s time to pick up God’s Word and let that be the uncompromising foundation of your life for answering all questions and making any decisions. In doing so, we cast down every thought in opposition to God’s Word, making our minds obedient to Christ.

About this Plan

Starve the Flesh With Judah Lupisella

Do you want freedom? Your fleshly, sinful nature needs to die. In Starve the Flesh, you will be challenged through the Word of God to do the opposite of everything your flesh knows and wants to do. Sinful habits, ungodly characteristics, addictions, and unbreakable strongholds will be broken in the name of Jesus. If you want your flesh to die, starve your flesh.
