Dear Lord, I thank You and praise You for the gift of this day and for the gift that is my mom. Thank you for giving me a mother who has cared for me and provided for me all my life with no thought of return. I pray You would look after her needs, as she has always looked after mine. When she feels lost, I pray that she will look to You for guidance and direction. When she feels hopeless, I pray You would comfort her as only You can. I pray all of these things in Jesus’ name. Amen.
