His Word is His Will

You’ve probably heard people say these are the last days, and I believe it. Sometimes it can feel overwhelming, right? It’s easy to feel like a victim like we don’t know what to do in the midst of the chaos and uncertainty.

The good news is that God’s will is happening in the earth, even today. He’s not surprised by what’s going on – He’s still working His plan. And that includes His will for your life.

Think about this: God looked down through all of time, saw you, and said, “Yes, they’re the ones I want on the planet in the last days.” He knows exactly where you are, what He has provided, and what He has called you to do.

So what is God’s will for your life? Well, I can’t tell you His specific plan for you – like where you should move, who you should marry, what job you should have. There is a specific plan (Jeremiah 29:11) and He will absolutely reveal it to you as you seek Him.

But I do know His general plan – His will -- for your life, and where to find it. There are definite things that God has called us to in the midst of these trying times, and we can find those things in the Bible. Because His Word is His will. Aren’t you glad that we have the Bible? It’s His instruction manual for life.

In this plan, I want to take a look into the Word at five things that are God’s will for your life – things you can be doing in these last days.

#1 - Press in. This is a time to get closer to God – closer to the answers, closer to the power. Ephesians 6:10-11 says be strong in the Lord and the power of His might. The devil wants to discourage you and make you lose focus. He wants you to let go of your dreams – don’t do it! The worst times are where God excels!

Conditions are never perfect to use your faith. Storms are normal. Determine to walk in God’s will by pressing in like never before. Read the Bible every day. Meditate on it. Go to church. Spend time in prayer. Listen for His voice. As you do, you’ll have peace and find His perfect plan.
