Blueprint – A guide for making something. A design or pattern that can be followed.

I am one of those people who like to try to fix things or build things without direction. I tend to try building things by sight rather than reading the steps. It is, however, not always wise to go in blind and ignore the blueprints set out before you. You default back over to the instructions after getting frustrated trying to make pieces fit that aren’t meant to!

What stands out about a blueprint is that you are given instructions written down by someone who has gone before you. The builder of a house started on paper. They wrote down the dimensions of the house, every room, and the home’s general layout.

God is the builder of our lives.

He is the author of the blueprints that will shape our future.

Too many of us are trying to put the pieces together without going over His blueprints!

One of the greatest concerns for Christ-followers and spiritual leaders is being faithful to the will of God for our lives, but it can seem vague at times. God has hardwired a blueprint into your life, but it is only revealed through listening to His heartbeat, observing the passions emerging within us, and paying attention to the paths of our lives. This blueprint is established and followed through our actions, habits, and practices. The blueprint for our lives is a detailed schematic of who we are and how we are wired.

It is a game plan or design for what will be.

And the blueprints of God are always carried out with excellence.

He pours the foundation by hand. It is up to us to continue His plans for our lives.
