Integral D-Tox, Prepared for Him

DAY 1 OF 5

Selah

Selah is a Hebrew word with no concrete meaning, but the concept relates to pausing to meditate on what was being done and preparing for what is to come. It appears seventy-four times in the Bible, seventy-one in Psalms, and three times in Habakkuk 3.

Musically it seems to be a silence for a key change or a pause to change the dynamics.

Perhaps at this moment, God is whispering in your ear: "Selah"; our life is a symphony of love composed by Him, and we must sound as He likes it. When He asks us for silence or pause, it's to change us in His way.

"Stop  and listen."

"Stop and think."

"Take a break to contemplate him."

Those are phrases that express the meaning of selah.

The Hebrew scholars claim that it means: "Stop, the Eternal will speak to you.

Selah will serve to pause everything around you and focus.

GOD FORMS, the Devil deforms, but CHRIST TRANSFORMS. Through selah, we will allow the Father to form the Son/Daughter in us; that image blurred into an "intoxicated" person with things that do not belong or help develop his original design.

Naturally, how do we figure out if we're intoxicated? Some symptoms we can see naturally and can try to make a parallel in the spiritual are:

• Headaches

• Sleep disturbance and insomnia

• Irritability, anxiety, or apathy

• Lack of concentration and memory

• Eczema and dry skin

• Muscle spasms

• Fatigue and lack of energy

• Increased propensity for allergies or infections

• Changes to your hair and nails

• Overweight and difficulty controlling your weight

• Edemas

When you identify symptoms your body isn't working correctly, you should stop, find a specialist, reinstruct your way of being and living, then you'll go back to normal. The same way things occur in our organism, it also happens in the soul and spirit. To treat a problem of emotional, mental, or spiritual intoxication, we cannot separate; we are spirit, soul, and body, and we must integrally treat everything.

If you are going through a time feeling deserted or alone, perhaps it is the ideal time to have a necessary detox and prepare in total purity for Him. If you are not feeling negative, we encourage you to set aside time and prepare for a comprehensive cleansing process to introduce yourself to God as His dressed bride He seeks.

SELAH:  Slow down your pace, take time to pray, and ask the Father what areas you need to detox. Listen to Him, and ask for His Spirit to do the work in your life. I encourage you to take notes so you can remember them daily.

About this Plan

Integral D-Tox, Prepared for Him

We long for the Second Coming of Christ! The Scriptures tell us about the Church as a bride expecting the arrival of her Bridegroom, focused on His coming. A bride prepares for the great day of her wedding. In this plan, we will see how to prepare to be the delight of the Beloved, taking time to decontaminate and detoxify ourselves from what takes us away from Him.
