Walk Through The Bible 365 - AugustSample
The New Covenant
The first covenant means The Old Testament. A second means The New Testament. So why did God look for a new covenant? It was not because there was anything wrong with the Old Testament. It is because God knows the weaknesses of mankind and that no one can be righteous before Him by meeting the requirements of The Law. God so loves the world, so He provides a new covenant, a simple and easy way to Heaven through His Son Jesus Christ.
Prayer: Jesus Lord, thank you for your sacrifice, bearing all our sins so that we can be cleaned. Thank you for your new covenant so that we may have life, and have it to the fullest. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
