Daily Assignments bring Destiny Alignment

David was faithful to his assignment. Even after his big moment of being chosen and anointed as King of Israel by the prophet Samuel, he returned to tending his fathers flock. We find him faithful again when his father sent him to serve his brothers who were in the army of Saul where he encountered a divine opportunity that would eventually reveal his destiny to the entire nation. I have always wondered, what would have happened if David refused to obey his father or serve his brothers? He would have never had the opportunity to defeat Goliath. Daily assignments give you divine opportunities for destiny alignment. Are you praying for a divine moment? Breakthrough? An opportunity in your life? Stay faithful to the task assigned to you, whether it is big or small! 

Many start well but lack courage and character to stay the course. We grow tired with routines and rosters. Zacaharias and his wife, Elizabeth, were barren, but an angel of the Lord appeared while Zacharias was serving in the temple and announced that Elizabeth would become pregnant with a boy. If Zacharias did not stay faithful to his routine of service in the temple, he would have missed his moment. Keep serving in your local church, community and country. The Lord will be faithful to finish what He starts.  

Christ is the greatest example of a servant leader. Servant leadership is the pathway to greatness. Jesus said; “but whoever would be great among you must be your servant”. Greatness is not in titles but rather in serving.
