Intelligent people are always ready to learn. Their ears are open for knowledge. - Proverbs‬ ‭18:15‬ ‭NLT

As a creative, you are called to learn. Your craft will always be changing and you will always need to find ways to innovate, adapt, stay current, and serve the needs of a client, a pastor, or a people. To do this successfully, you need to cling to learning. The more you learn, the more you grow. The more you grow, the greater you become. 

Also, you never know what more you can learn from opening your ear to someone else’s well of wisdom and knowledge. 

Prayer

Heavenly Father, my Creator, Holy Spirit, teach me how to be creative. Help me to stay ever-ready to learn from You. I open my ears to you to receive knowledge, to receive instruction and inspiration, and receive creative ideas. Speak to me! In Jesus’ name, Amen. 

Creative Challenge

This week I want you to stay ready to learn and to ask God to teach you something new. Whether that’s a new computer program, a new skill like photography or baking, or even for him to teach you how to run a business! Be open to what He is trying to teach you and have fun. Go out there and create your week!
