Kingdom Builders: How to Live an "All In" LifeSample
Faith is Spelled RISK
Living an “All In” life will always involve taking wise risk. The Hebrew word for wisdom means “to live life skillfully.” Faith steps don’t just include your finances but every area of your life.
The writer of Hebrews tells us so much about risk and taking steps of faith. Fear and faith are the same emotion. How you approach God says a lot about what you believe about Him. There is a recount of one of Jesus’ miracles in the Gospel of Matthew. The real miracle is faith. If you have even just a little bit you can do the impossible!
If you find it hard being generous when you have a little, then you’ll find it hard when you have a lot. Being generous, no matter the amount and whether it’s with your time, talent or treasure, requires exactly the same faith. It requires growing in maturity and you have to start now with what you have.
The number one thing you can be sure of is when you take a faith step you’re going to come under attack. However, this is a good thing because you’ll know you’re right on track. Difficulties are promised, but we can rest assured that Jesus has conquered the world!
Are you living on purpose? Are you doing what you’re called to do? What are you gifted at? What small steps do you need to take? How are you trusting God with what you have right now? These are all important questions. Faith questions. Life questions.
Remember, there’s no such thing as a “wrong step.” You don’t have to wait for the perfect timing. Just take your next best step. If God’s behind it, He’s going to make it work. He can accelerate things when they need to be accelerated. He can slow things down when they need to be slowed down. He’s in control. He’s got you!
Today, God is waiting for you to take that small faith step and trust Him with the gifts and resources He’s entrusted you with. What are you waiting for?
