As you read through 1 Peter 1, write down your observations. Here are some ideas to help:
- Look for and make a list of any attributes of God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.
- Repeating Words: List or mark words or concepts that continue to appear. You should find quite a few today!
- In one or two sentences, write a summary about the main message of chapter one.
Reflect:
- What attribute of God did you find most meaningful in today’s text?
Apply:
- Based on today’s lesson, how will you rise up and stand firm?
