(Un)Qualified to Do God's Calling

DAY 2 OF 5

God Always Chooses Correctly

Are you someone like me, who has a hard time deciding when it comes to choosing something? My husband knows right away whether he wants "A" or "B," but I tend to struggle when I'm bombarded with too many options. I often ask myself, "Am I making the right choice?"

On the other hand, our sovereign and perfect God always makes the right choice. He never makes a mistake when choosing whom to use to accomplish His will, and He often chooses the weak to demonstrate His glory. Here's just one example: When God appeared to Moses from a burning bush in Midian and called him to go to Pharaoh to bring the Israelites out of Egypt, Moses responded with uncertainty about God's calling several times. He even begged God to send someone else. But God chose Moses. God's choices are always right.

Because of our human imperfections, we may be surprised when God chooses us for a particular task, but God isn't surprised. He's the one who set you apart for His work, even before you were born. Are you alert to the opportunities God is giving you? Don't let the fear of what might happen or your insecurities cause you to miss a chance to answer God's call. He never misdials. Is He calling you? Don't be afraid to answer His call when He correctly chooses YOU!

About this Plan

(Un)Qualified to Do God's Calling

God often calls on unlikely candidates to fulfill His purposes. If you think God can’t use you, think again. If you feel you’re not qualified, reevaluate. This five-day plan will show you that God can use YOU to fulfill any purpose He chooses. The good news is that He'll equip, empower, and refine you along the way, and never abandon you. Congratulations! You're hired to do God's calling!
