Preparing For The Last Great Outpouring

DAY 5 OF 5

Becoming Nation-Changers

Kairos is a Greek word refers to windows in time, now moments when God acts in specific ways. It’s the word Jesus used when He said that Israel did not know the time, the kairos, of their visitation. They missed both blessing and destiny when they rejected Him as the Messiah God had sent them. The body of Christ stands today on the threshold of one of those kairos moments. God is doing something—or is about to—and God’s people must wake up and get on board or miss it. We must prepare by means of repentance and a renewed hunger for holiness.

One key word of the hour in this kairos season is nation changers. What God is about to do through His people is more than just an outpouring of His Spirit. As governments and cultures ultimately turn to us for answers, this move of God will touch nations and bring favor to His people.

This next move of God will refresh us in the church, but it will also affect governments, schools, businesses, and entire cultures through us who have been filled and gifted with the Spirit of God.

As a people, we have been called and destined to carry a message to the whole world. We are priests, ministers of the gospel, every one of us. We must think of ourselves as pastors in the places where we’ve been deployed, ministering the power and love of the kingdom of God in every setting and revealing who Jesus really is. As priests of the Lord, we become responsible for the spiritual well-being of those we relate to and touch on a daily basis.

The promise to Abraham, father of Israel and father of faith, comes down to us, whether Jew or Gentile, as sons and daughters of Abraham through faith in Jesus. God told Abraham that through his descendants, all of the nations of the earth would be blessed. Never did God intend that the promise should be kept to ourselves.

Our faith in Jesus has included us in the company of the people of God. The promise is ours. We receive it not as a burden or as a heaviness we’re forced to carry at the expense of the pleasures of life, but as a blessing. As a blessing, it brings release and joy. Increase and prosperity come with being a blessing to the nations.
