Cast Your Cares.

“Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” ‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭5:7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

According to Strong’s Concordance, the Greek word for “Cast” is, ‘epiriptō’ (G1977) which means, “To throw upon (literally or figuratively).” Literally throw your cares, concerns, worries, and anxiety upon Christ. Don’t let Earthly matters derail your course. Don’t become distracted by the fears and cares of this world. ‭‭

1 Peter‬ ‭5:7‬ ‭AMPC‬‬ declares, “Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully.” God vehemently cares for you. He Loves you — so why not surrender your cares over to the One who owns the world? 

Psalms 50:10 KJV declares, “For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills.” Everything belongs to God. Your career belongs to Him. Your family belongs to Him. The resources that are under your stewardship belongs to Him. Everything you can see and the things you cannot see belong to Him. Choose to cast that weight over to God. Don’t let the things of this world entangle your heart. Don’t let the cares of this world become your lord. 

Galatians‬ ‭5:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬ declares, “Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.” Be not entangled in the yoke of this world. Don’t let your heart become entangled in the cares, weight, concerns, and worries of this world. Choose to set your heart on Christ. ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6:8‬ ‭KJV‬‬ declares, “Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.” Focus on Him. Seek Him. Choose to trust Him.
