Forgive.
“Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.” Matthew 18:21-22 KJV
Choose to forgive. Choose to forgive frequently. Choose to forgive often. Choose to forgive your spouse. Choose to forgive your parents. Choose to forgive your enemies. Choose to forgive those who have come against you. Choose to forgive those who have conspired against you. Choose to forgive those who have used you. Choose to forgive — and let God reset your heart.
Forgiving is a choice. Forgiving frees you from the emotional prison of the past. Forgiving frees you from the bondage of past trespasses. Choose to forgive and release your heart from the bondage and bitterness of the past. Let His Word soften your heart. Let His Word lead your heart. Let His Love transform every area of your heart. Love builds. Love transforms. Love restores. Love will set you free.
Romans 5:8 KJV declares, “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” While you were yet in sin — God loved you. While you were yet sinners — Christ died for you. When you were wrong — Christ’s Blood redeemed you. Choose to forgive and put the past behind you. Choose to forgive and let the bitterness of the past go. Choose to forgive and let God heal you from the inside out.
