Praying Through Philippians with Hillsong CreativeSample
Philippians 4:6-7 says, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
This passage is invitation to prayer, to dialogue with our heavenly father. Through prayer our anxiety is replaced with peace. What might be causing you to feel anxious today?
Take a moment, through prayer, to let go of any worries and experience God’s peace.
Thank Him for peace that transcends understanding, peace that doesn’t make sense.
Oh Lord Jesus Christ, we lay our burdens at Your feet today, trusting that You are good, You are kind, and You are faithful to Your word. We thank You for Your peace, peace that doesn’t make sense. We receive it now. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

About this Plan
Join the creative community of Hillsong Church as we spend seven days reading and praying through the book of Philippians. Philippians is a letter penned by the apostle Paul from prison in Rome, written to the church in Philippi who were also under great opposition. The message of Philippians is one of deep friendship, encouragement and exhortation to live like Christ no matter what life’s circumstances may be.
