PLANTED

DAY 2 OF 5

 Pray Faithfully

Prayer has the power to change anything that stands between the believer and God’s perfect will for the believer’s life. Additionally, prayer is the only human activity that has the power to influence the Creator. Remember Hezekiah when he prayed for God to extend his life.

Prayer also has the power to change the one who prays. This is the way prayer should function all the time. Our prayers should impact us first, changing the priorities of our lives. Then, as our prayers change us, they will become powerful enough to actually change the way God responds to us. And when God changes the way he responds to us, our circumstances will be changed as a result.
